Tractions Elevators

Traction elevator delivers smooth, quick acceleration, energy efficiency and attractive cost for high-rise buildings. Especially, these lifts impress with their versatility, power and speed. To create the highest quality traction elevators, our designers and engineers put their technological creativity to its full potential. Our traction elevators combine the latest digital technology with world-renowned construction to achieve a new level of precision, energy efficiency, safety and reliability.

Traction elevators are the most common type of elevators. Elevator cars are pulled up by means of rolling steel ropes over a deeply grooved pulley, commonly called a sheave in the industry. Sometimes two elevators are built so that their cars always move synchronously in opposite directions, and are each other's counterweight. Traction Elevators are lift systems that use an electric hoisting machine and hoisting cables to raise and lower the elevator car vertically along guide rails. Traction Elevators are a common system for many mid-rise and high-rise structures and require a penthouse machine room to store the mechanical equipment and a counterweight to balance the load placed on the machinery by the car and passengers. Traction Elevators are lifts that are raised and lowered by ropes attached to an electric motor housed at the top of the elevator shaft in a penthouse machine room.
